Have you ever experienced doing something heavy and wrong, that it doesn’t make you sleep peacefully at night?
Of course, we all did. There’s no way of saying no to that.
You know, not all has the eye of seeing beauty in disguise; the eye that understands beneath the surface and finds the bright side of every mistake. “Mistake is a mistake,” they uttered. But as a good friend of mine said a few years ago, mistake is not a deadly sin. It exists to teach us good values that we should impart.
Why can’t we all have that eye?
Fear. That’s why.
Some are afraid of being corrected.
Some are afraid of being judged.
Some are afraid of accepting,
Some are afraid of admitting.
Worse? Some are afraid to try.
Simple sentences, aren’t they? Everyone can relate.
Little did we know that these realities become barriers to the lessons we should have, and we are the ones making these barriers become reality.
It may not be easy, but who knows what beauty will reveal from the so-called ugliness?
